Voici d'autres informations obtenues par Josef sur la societe de son grand-pere aupres du museum de Tarnów :


"Dear Mr S....,
 
Responding to your e-mail from August 31, I inform you that in our museum’s resources there are two empty envelopes. Envelopes have stamps and addresses: sent from Krosno in February 1938 by WUDETA" MAŁOPOLSKIE ZAKŁADY GUMOWE w KROŚNIE to „Zjednoczone Fabryki Związków Azotowych” – a chemical industry company in Mościce - now district of Tarnów. There is no correspondence inside. The query did not reveal any other documents,  photographs or films showing WUDETA „Malopolskie Zaklady Gumowe w Krosnie”.
 
A quick analysis of the Internet resources (see attachments) shows that in 1926 Wurzel and Daar company had a factory of woman’s outfits in Tarnow – Walowa 32 street and Chyszowska 2 street. They had a phone numer at Chyszowska. Before or after they had also a store in the corner building Narutowicza and Drużbacka street in Tarnow.
WUDETA was established around 1929 as a gum factory (shoes, waterproof coats, rubber items etc. production, after 1935 also leather shoes). They prospered very well and export their products abroad. The company had registered a trademark in 1930 as a „Małopolskie Zakłady Gumowe w Krośnie” („Malopolskie Rubber Factory in Krosno”) Wurcel and Daar, with correspondence address in Tarnow. Their main factory was in Krosno. In 1931 Mendel Maar (Tarnow, Pocztowa street 12) and Samolon Wurzel (Tarnow, Narutowicza 22) were in a management of a company associating gum shoes producers („Centralne Buiro Sprzedaży Wyrobów Polskich Faryk Obuwia Gumowego”) . In 1939 WUDETA produced shoes for polish army. In 1939 when Germany invaded Poland the factory was bombed and destroyed.".
